New Directions or Retreat?

Did your career or life plans change significantly—even traumatically—due to the restrictions and changes imposed by the Global Pandemic? Now that you can anticipate that these requirements are abating, are you thinking about what comes next for you?

Resilience is the ability to “rebound” after a setback or a challenge. It doesn’t make your problems go away, but resilience can help you to see beyond them…to adapt and move forward. Research has shown that humans are not born to be resilient. Some people bounce back quickly, while others may take longer, even several years to do so. Psychologists and scientists studying the resilience trait agree that deliberate, intentional effort can significantly strengthen our ability to move forward from trauma or other negative experiences. That is, there are habits, behaviors, and mindsets we can develop to activate our inner resilience.

A personal coach is a trusted partner who is trained to help you modify behaviors that detract from achieving success. Coaching supports you to transcend issues in your life or work--amplifying your strengths while identifying limiting beliefs that keep you from maximizing your effectiveness.

Mind, body, and spirit are appropriate arenas for exploration with the coach to achieve focus, clarity, balance, and satisfaction. In this state of mind, you are able to exercise resilience more readily, ensuring progress in directions you have set for yourself.
